This week
Your post could be next.
Tried Pickle? Found something worth explaining? Help the next person understand it. A useful guide, an honest review, a sharp breakdown, even a meme that teaches something.
Your account can be small. Your contribution can still matter.
How the week works
Publish by Sunday. Winners on Wednesday.
- Step 1
Publish by Sunday
Each week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC. Only posts published within that window count.
- Step 2
We read on Monday
The team reviews every entry for originality, accuracy, clarity, and usefulness.
- Step 3
Winners on Wednesday
The top three are announced on X and on this page.
- Step 4
Prizes within seven days
Winners receive USDC within seven days of the announcement, on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon or Solana: their pick.
Your X account must be at least 90 days old with real engagement, and your entry must be public. Accounts with bought followers or bot activity are disqualified, and we check every winner before paying. Judging decisions are final. We may repost winning content, always with credit.
What we look for
Less "wen moon." More "here's how it works."
Pick one thing. Explore it properly. Give people something worth their time.
Five ways to win
Try it yourself. Use an app, play a game, deploy a contract. Write about what actually happened.
Show your work. Bring screenshots, recordings, transaction links, or sources. Help readers check your claims.
Keep it honest. Something broken? Say so. Something still planned? Make that clear. Testnet data? Label it.
Make it useful. Leave someone understanding a mechanic, ready to try an app, or able to start building.
Keep your voice. Funny, technical, straightforward, whatever sounds like you. We're here for your perspective.
Worth knowing
A thoughtful criticism can win. So can a short post that explains one thing really well.
Likes don't pick the winners. We read every entry. Follower counts don't pick the winners either.
Some content carries extra weight. Useful content that helps developers build or brings people into the community.
Ideas
A few things worth cooking.
Pick one and go deep.
Help someone build
Deploy a contract and record the steps. Port an app. Explain a piece of the Toolkit. Include the mistakes and how you fixed them.
The goalAnother developer can follow your work and get started.
Follow the fees
Trace a fee-router payout. Explain buybacks and burns. Work through the economics with sources and real examples.
The goalReaders understand where value comes from, where it goes, and what could go wrong.
Take an app for a spin
Try Pepper, Derby, Glide, or another Pickle app. Show the experience, including the parts that need work.
The goalSomeone knows what to expect before trying it.
Make the tech understandable
Explain mini-blocks versus blocks. Follow a transaction through the Explorer. Measure something and show your method.
The goalA clear explanation that holds up when someone checks it.
Bring a fren
Help a newcomer make their first swap. Write a guide in your language. Interview a builder. Recap a Space with the useful bits.
The goalMake joining and contributing easier.
Give us something to think about
What should Pickle build next? What's missing? What would you change? Make your case.
The goalA discussion that helps the community make better decisions.
Teach through a meme
Explain one real Pickle mechanic with an original meme.
The goalWe laugh, we learn, we send it to a fren.
Originality
Your brain belongs in the post, ser.
Entries must be original and written by you.
What qualifies
- Original, and written by you
- Basic spelling and grammar checks are fine
- One good post is enough to enter: take your time
- Posts, threads, videos, infographics, and charts
What doesn't
- AI-generated posts, copied work, and recycled threads
- Generic hype with nothing specific behind it
- Misleading numbers or unsupported claims
- Price predictions, "100x" promises, or guaranteed airdrops
- "Like and repost to win" engagement bait
- Old content submitted again
- Accounts with fake engagement: bought followers, engagement pods, bot likes. We check, and we can see it
